Ad of The Day- Guinness (Throwback) – “Tipping Point”)

A throwback ad from 2007, one of my favourite ads of all time! The Agency, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO designed the creative advert in Argentina, showing a sequence of domino’s using many objects from books to cars. This resulted in a big pint of Guinness made out of books as the finale for what looks like hundreds of people within the Argentinian community.

With an aim of “celebrating community”, this advert draws the viewers in and makes them excited to see where the domino chain will end. I personally love the idea with the strapline ‘Good things come to those who wait’, because the anticipation of where a domino chain will stop/if it will reach the end from whoever is watching is universal. I just love love love this ad!
