Ad of The Year 2012- The Guardian- “Three Little Pigs”

My favourite advert of the year 2012! The Guardian ran this campaign in Feburary 2012 to highlight their open journalism concept and use of multimedia platforms. Creating a twist of the traditional “Three Little Pigs” tale, agency BBH developed this advert to show interaction between the guardian and their readers- showing newspaper, websites, video, tweets and blogs. I personally think the advert draws any viewer in, as most people know the traditional story and want to see how it would pan out in today’s world. Winning a Cannes Lion Award and gaining millions of YouTube views, I think this advert definitely deserves ad of the year!
