Ad of The Day- Carnival Cruise UK- “#SwitchOnFun”

Carnival Cruise UK have launched their new campaign in order to raise awareness about their brand and the attractions to their cruises. The television advert is really creative; the unexpectedness of the different people literally being pulled out of their current boring situation onto a Carnival Cruise is hilarious. The concept of “#SwitchOnFun” is quite nice but I don’t think that using a hashtag will necessarily mean everybody will start tweeting about it. The advert is good because it’s different to every other travel ad at the moment, a bit more in your face and comedic. Does it make me want to get on a Carnival Cruise though? Not quite sure…
