Disturbing KFC Image Circling The Net- Bad PR?
I’m sure we are all aware about the myths behind fast food and that we don’t know what we are REALLY eating. This is usually ignored by most consumers, but one young man will never feel the same again after his discovery earlier this week.
An image of a KFC Chicken piece with what looks like a brain on the inside is circling the net this week, for all the wrong reasons. The find was in Colchester, UK and the viral image has gained thousands of “put off” consumers and negative comments and via social network sites (twitter, facebook etc).
Can KFC undo this with more advertising? What could be done to ensure that the brand doesn’t obtain a bad reputation?
